Violenta attività esplosiva dal pit crater sul versante Sud-Est del vulcano. Fontane di lava ben visibili anche dai centri abitati. Le esplosioni e la colata si sono esauriti in tarda nottata.

E’ scura, vero, ma rende l’idea dell’atmosfera che c’era alle 5 di mattina ai piedi del Vulcano Bromo, dopo un’ora di camminata nel "Mare di Sabbia", al buio totale. Purtroppo mancano le esalazioni all’odor di zolfo…. Loro lo chiamano Monte, ma in realtà è un vulcano attivo, e vedere l’alba …
